So who's in your top 100?

We are gods amongst mortals!

Not really, but over at Reverb Nation, our online resource for many a thing, we are currently ranked in the top 100 folk artists.  This is extremely flattering... we have so many people to thank! Seriously, you... and you! Friends and Family, Thank you! Weird guy logging in and listening to our tunes in his mother's attic, Thank you! What...? why is there music playing No we haven't thanked the double jointed bearded lady from Portland, Maine....

We are one month and five days away from the "Good Grief" CD release at the Eggroll Cafe in Lowell.  Hope to see you all there!

PJN News Update

Greetings to friends of Pesky J. Nixon! Strap in, we've got LOTS of exciting news for you!!!

NEW Member - We'd like to welcome the newest member of Pesky J. Nixon, our new bassist Zack Root! You've probably seen him play with us before, and thus understand our excitement that he has finally "officially" joined the band!

NEW Album - Yes, we are still hard at work on our studio effort, but to hold you over until it's ready ... let us announce our first full-length live album will be released in the next few weeks!! Named "Good Grief" (for reasons too numerous to go into here), this will include tracks from PJN's performances at The Paradise Lounge and WUML (UMass Lowell Radio). We will be sure to let you know how you can get a copy as soon as it's available.

NEW Website - A new website is nearly ready! We've got new soundclips, photos and other fun stuff just waiting to be surfed.

Upcoming Events - PJN is hard at work planning some big gigs and events in the next few months. We hope to be playing out a lot, so stay tuned! We'll be posting details here, but if you want to be SURE not to miss a thing, head on over to ReverbNation and enter your email address in the "Join Our Mailing List" box.

NEW Friends - We just got back from the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (July 24-27) where we heard some amazing music and made some fantastic new friends. Run, don't walk, to check out Red Molly, Anthony da Costa, Abbie & Anthony (Abbie Gardner of Red Molly & Anthony da Costa), We're About 9 and Jason Spooner.

As always, feel free to email us at info@peskyjnixon.com with any questions, inquiries or booking requests.
